The Somnium pillow is the perfect complement to our line of mattresses. Made from a softer version of the same premium foam we use in the whole product line, the supportive HR foam is topped with a soft comfort layer to gently cradle your head and give you the best of both worlds: Support and comfort.
And unlike other contour pillows, ours is height adjustable in a variety of ways to always be the perfect resting place for your head: In addition to the two standard curvatures of a different height on each side of the pillow, we added an internal peel-away layer at the base, so our pillows can offer more options to adjust to your unique head shape, neck length, shoulder width and height preference.

In addition, internal air channels make the pillow highly breathable to keep your had cool while you dream.
Finally, the pillow is encased in not one, but two beautiful washable covers: A soft, silky and sleek inner one ,that can be used by itself when you want to gently protect your hair or opt for the least lofty pillow. And a highly breathable and plush outer one, made of rayon and mesh that matches our Somnium cover design.
CONTOUR CORNER
Since a regular pillow is typically rectangular or square with a uniform thickness throughout, it really doesn't offer any special ergonomic support for your neck.
A contour pillow, by contrast, has a curved shape that is designed to provide support to your head, neck, and shoulders. It fits the natural shape of your body and cradles your head. Though traditionally made from memory foam that can run hot and lack support, we have improved the overall design using new materials, offer air permeability and include personal adjustment options. SPINAL ALIGNMENT
The contouring design of the pillow helps maintain proper alignment of the cervical and upper thoracic spine. Doing that can reduce the risk of developing back pain, neck pain, aching shoulders and tense muscles.

THE EARLY DAYS
The ancient Egyptians used pillows made of stone, wood, and porcelain, while the Greeks and Romans used pillows made of cloth filled with straw, feathers, and even cherry pits. In medieval Europe, pillows became a sign of wealth and were often embroidered with gold and silver threads.
A CASE OF CLEANLINESS
The pillowcase was invented in the 16th century as a way to protect pillows from dirt and oils, and to make them easier to clean. While that definitely helps, The National Sleep Foundation still recommends that pillows be replaced every 1-2 years, as they can collect dust mites, bacteria, and other allergens over time.
PILLOW FIGHTERS
The world’s largest pillow fight took place in October 13, 2018, in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province in southern China. The event was organized by a local shopping mall and aimed to break the previous world record for the largest pillow fight, which was set in 2015 in Chicago and had 4,201 participants.
